Veri-Scribe
TM is an advanced digital recording system
for use in courtrooms, hearing rooms, and business meetings.
Its basic configuration uses a laptop PC with
one to four balanced audio input channels (for connection of microphones,
external mixers, or other audio sources).
Veri-Scribe is also deployable as a networked recording system.
It has been designed to provide reliable recording for courtrooms
and hearing rooms, with fast and accurate retrieval and playback.
These features are available in Veri-Scribe packages:
- Live monitoring and testing of channel audio by authorized users.
- Extensive recording storage on the system's hard drive, for immediate on-line access.
- Copy recordings to CD-R/CD-RW or to network attached storage.
- Text annotation of audio recordings before, during, and after each recording session.
- Linking of the annotations and audio recordings for ease of retrieval.
- Conversion of recorded audio to multiple standard file formats for offline playback.
- Playback of selected recordings by authorized users.
- Transcription hardware support (i.e.: foot pedals).
- Section 508 accessibility for disabled users.
