by Jen Metcalf Razzino, CER

Let's Have a Ball... at Work?

Antoinette M. Franks, CET

If you ask around and take a poll of the general workforce and how much they enjoy it, generally, you won't get the answer of "I have a ball when I go to work." While that's an added bonus to going to work every day, it's not a necessity for most people to make it through their workday and get the job done. However, in our industry it's a necessity to enjoy what you do in order to truly excel in this field. But did you know not only should you have a ball mentally when you report to your desk, but that you just may need one physically as well?

July Newsletter Correction

Editor's Note:  There are two corrections to the July 2018, newsletter:

(1) A statement from the President's message should have read: "SpeedType’s macro building features can improve your typing speed 60-80%."

(2) A second statement from the President's message should have read: "For those preparing to take our CET exam, Tips for Passing the Transcriber Practical Exam and Using Federal Formatting was presented by our expert members, K.C. Corbin CER, CET; Beth Grice, CER, CET; and Sherry Simmons, CER.  This program offered helpful tips into how to prepare for the challenging CET Practical exam."
