NOTARY RULES ADAPTING TO REMOTE PROCEEDINGS (4/21/2020)

In this new pandemic induced world of remote proceedings many states and the federal government are looking at or already have adjusted (at least temporarily) the requirements for notaries when some or all of the participants are not in the same physical location.

The link to the left will allow you to see the entire PDF detailed report from NCSC on ways to ensure the success of implementing digital reporting into the courtroom.

This is a result of a request from the original COSCA Report (Council of State Court Administrators) from December 2009. The report asked for recommendations on Digital Recording Implementation; Digital Recording Planning; Review of standards and procedures for transcript production; Standards for the technology, archiving, storage, and retrieval of digital audio and video recordings of court proceedings.
